Our facility is located in the heart of downtown Union City, at 69 North Main Street, a half block from the intersection of state Routes 8 and 97. The original structure was begun in 1878 as the school administration building. In 1912, Marvin Cooper purchased the building and opened the Cooper Funeral Home.
The facility has been updated through the years, and now consists of a large main chapel and viewing area with a corner area for personal DVDs. A smaller, more intimate viewing area with limited accommodations allows for small family gatherings. The children’s area provides a safe, friendly place for children to watch cartoons and children’s programs or draw and play with games. The casket show room with cremation urns and jewelry allows families to personalize their selections and the handicap ramp and large doorways easily allow wheelchair accessibility through the viewing areas.
